2017 National Reunion After Action Report

Sharon and I attended the VHPA Convention in Indy, July 2-6.  We worked the welcome desk for two days and were very pleased with the information we were provided to help people find their way around the area and the convention.  The turnout was a little lower than expected but the entertainment and trips were a great success.  The sign in sheet helped those attending find people and units they were looking for or those they remembered.

I hosted the mini reunion for the BlackWidows on July 4th.  The following people attended:

Bob Janes, Doug Cooper, Bobby Cormack, William Bramlett, Charles Eyanson, Ernest Pratt, Terry Hunt, Dan Farris, James L. (Ned) Joesing, and Keith Stephan.

We took a group picture and some single pictures of those who were on trips and got in later.  I am sending pictures to those who requested them.  We had people who remembered us from other units who stopped by to share their stories and memories.  We had a great time telling stories and enjoying the many displays.  We saw some new faces and they signed the Helicopter picture we have been carrying to the reunions, which will be donated to the Museum at Ft. Campbell when completed.
